Policastro Bussentino is a coastal medieval town 5 miles from Santa Marina. There is a long stretch of beach, many bars, restaurants and shops. For those interested in history there is a medieval cathedral, which has been declared a national monument, a roman road and ruins of medieval towers. There is a market down near the sea front every Monday morning.
